Climbing the Ranks

How leveling, leaderboards and win streaks work.

Every duel you play moves you up (or down) the ladder. Here's how progression works.

Player level (XP)

You gain XP mostly from daily challenges. XP increases your player level — a measure of how much you've played and progressed.

Leaderboards

AFM ranks players on leaderboards so you can see how you stack up. Keep winning and completing challenges to climb.

Tip

Consistency wins ladders. A player who logs in daily, clears challenges, and plays a balanced deck will out-climb someone who only binges occasionally.

Win streaks

Stringing wins together builds a streak — a fun way to measure your form, and a reason to keep your deck sharp.

How to climb faster

  1. Play daily — claim your login reward and clear your 6 challenges.
  2. Keep your deck balanced across all five stats (see Building Your First Deck).
  3. Reinvest coins into stronger cards and upgrades.
  4. Learn from losses — note which stat lost you the round, and shore it up.
Note

Matchmaking aims for fair, winnable games. If you hit a rough patch, tweak your deck rather than forcing the same lineup.
